The Curriculum

The IB curriculum consists of 6 academic groups as well as a core area.  The six groups are:  

Group 1:

Group 6: The Arts

IB at the CREST
Students at Strawberry Crest IB enter as Pre-IB students in 9th and 10th grades and officially enter the IB Diploma Programme as 11th graders.  

The Diploma Programme is completed over the course of two years.  The curriculum is liberal arts based, with students exposed to rigorous courses in all disciplines.  ​​

Students gain a unique international education, with the ability to earn college credits. 

Strawberry Crest High School opened it's doors in August of 2009. After a two year authorization process, Strawberry Crest became an IB World School in February 2011. The first IB graduating class was the Class of 2013. ​​​

There are three core components 

1. Theory of Knowledge
a course that delves into the ways of knowing
2. The Extended Essay
a 4,000 word research paper
3. CAS Requirement ​​​
completion of Creative, Action, and Service Hours
